A number of Finnish Embassies and Consulates General are now better equipped with know-how in international business. Six new experts have been recruited to back up the export efforts of Finnish companies, charged also with the mission of attracting foreign investment in Finland.
Their task is to back up the export efforts of Finnish companies and lend them assistance, working together with the Team Finland network and other local actors. Attracting foreign investment in Finland and innovation cooperation are also part of the job description.
These seasoned experts in international trade will be posted to Iran, Canada, Singapore, Turkey and the United States.

Their terms run for three years. The current recruitments are part of the Government’s key objective of improving Finland’s competitiveness, and they also pursue the goal of enhancing Team Finland operations.
