Finland evokes many associations: majestic and unspoilt nature with thousands of lakes and endless forests; a vibrant cultural life incl. world-renowned talents and an unparalleled festival circuit; high-class technological know-how; educational and social welfare systems that have gained respect world over; Moomins and Santa Claus - truly a world of tastes and textures that cannot all be taken in and digested at once!
The Consulate General of Finland in Hong Kong and a group of sponsoring companies, in close cooperation and partnership with several prominent actors and institutions in the Hong Kong cultural and social life, are proud to present and serve different aspects of Finland in Hong Kong. This is done in small but exciting portions to delight audiences in Hong Kong - all under the title of "Finnish Appetizers".
The program menu consists of various kinds of events introducing Finnish culture, talent and artists as well as other features of Finland, with the aim of bringing out a bigger appetite and raising curiosity for more things Finnish!
